The thesis has seven chapters. The first chapter briefs the general situations of the studying of diplomacy in Sun Yat-sen's later years, the period of Guangzhou and Wuhan People's Government and the initial period of Nanjing People's Government. The second, third, fourth and fifth chapters successively expound Sun Yat-sen's diplomacy around unifying China and the thoughts on allying Russia, Threatening Diplomacy, opposing imperialism and gradually altering unequal treaties in Sun Yat-sen's later years. The sixth chapter analyses how Sun Yat-sen's thoughts on diplomacy in his later years effected the diplomacy of Guangzhou, Wuhan and Nanjing People's Government from many aspects, such as foreign principle, foreign policy and tactics, the practices of politically applying diplomacy and the altitude of gradually altering unequal treaties.
