LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI is an agglomeration of Chinese ancient wen-yan story, of which more than one hundred stories have been adapted to dramas, covering over forty types of drama and over three hundred namelists of drama . This article mainly explore Chuanqi and Zaju of Qing Dynasty adapted from Liao Zhai Zhi Yi, compare them with the original stories and find out the changes and differences between them, and summarizes the general characteristic of Liaozhai drama.The artile includes six parts:The first part is to briefly narrate the present state of Liao zhai dramas and decide on the purpose of study.The second part is to introduce the writers of Liaozhai dramas and their writing background so as to show the changes of stories and dramas.The third part is to discuss the change of main idea and the change of art on role , character and plot so as to analyse the difference of stories and dramas.The fourth part is to summarizes the general character from seven aspects.The fifth part is to introduce the writers of Qian Weiqiao and Huang Xieqing, and analyse the features of their works and the cause of formation.The sixth part is to summarizes the mutual influence between story and drama and Liaozhai drama's value.
