| This paper reviews and reconsiders the culture backgrounds and realistic position of female images portrayed by male and female directors along the process of 100-year Chinese film industry history through the perspective of occidental film theory, and analyses the history backgrounds and the sexual experience of male and female directors, which causes the differences of them. This paper points out that the female image and "Moviestar" system in primary Chinese film have lived in the shade of the male image, so have they in the new country, which fails the idea of "break thorough" of the female directors. This paper call on to construct a beautiful and harmonic garden for the portraying of Chinese female film image , which really repersents the peculiar spirit ,social placement and personal experience of the female. |
