With the development of globalization, exchanges of economy and culture among different countries are becoming more and more frequent. Translation, as a tool and bridge of communication, plays a significant role in this course. Based on cultural turn in translation, this thesis chooses business English translation as the angel of view, making a tentative exploration of cultural turn in translating business English. The aim is to find an access to smooth communication in different cultural backgrounds.The thesis is composed of three parts. In Part One, there are three chapters. To clear up the ground, the first chapter gives a general introduction to this comprehensive subject - translation as well as its new connotation in the background of globalization. Focusing on topic of culture, the second chapter analyzes connotations, characteristics and functions of culture and introduces a novel concept - cultural turn into the research. The third chapter carries out the exploration of the dialectic relationship between translation and culture, including their relationship with language.Based on the firm theories of Part One, the second part - the core of this paper goes to the research of business English translation naturally and smoothly. It consists of three chapters. In Chapter One, a brief introduction to international business English is given, such as definition,features and so on. The second chapter discusses deeply the translation of business English, mainly analyzing the inevitability and significance of business English translation as well as its criteria of translation. Chapter Three focuses on the key topic of the paper - cultural turn in translation of business English, aiming at exploring how business English translation is adapted to different cultural backgrounds, thus successfully accomplishing the transfer from source language to target language.As the conclusion of the paper, Part Three reiterates the relationship between translation and culture, again pointing out that translation of business English is taking a cultural turn.
