It breaks through the formulary of the software which is based on graphic design software with abundant database. On base of fashion style, the system can create clothes automatically with a kind of "thinking" ability. It has no requirement on user's specialization, but can modify clothes according to user's needs.The system can be divided into five parts: automatic creating module, modifying module, series designing module, intelligent query module and dummy revealing module. Firstly, fashion designer put designing knowledge into the system, then, users input instruction. The system will produce designs automatically through design ratiocinating part. The self-learning function will make the system become more and more perfect.Our task team established the changing rules of garment parts and database of garments. Through the definition of key lines and key points, the garment parts can be connected automatically by the system, which is the basic of digital fashion design.Because of the working condition, there are still some problems need to be solved, such as the difficulty in simulating curves with math function, the definition of style and the connecting rules of garment parts.
