| The governor system is always an academic focus, while the regional governor system is its miniature. The study of the regional system can make contribution to the more profound understanding of the whole system. This paper, from the perspective of regional history, makes an all-round analysis of the establishment of the Guizhou governor in the Ming Dynasty, its regional military control in dealing with national conflicts, and the influences of its establishment, on the basis of the data about Guizhou from the Royal Record in the Ming Dynasty (Ming Shi Lu), documents and memorials to the throne written by local officers.This paper consists of two parts: preface and main body.In the preface, the paper's research meaning and research situation in the present are briefly pointed out.In the main body, three topics are expounded.1.
