In ancient Greek philosophy and Christian faith exist before the Christian experience, but one of many religions within the Roman Empire, no other religion can not match the strength. However, this opportunity makes the history of Western culture into the future of the two important elements. Rational spirit of Greek philosophy and Christian belief are in the spirit of mutual integration of the common achievements of Western civilization. Of course, Christianity and Greek philosophy also absorb their rational integration of spirit, a sound of its own teachings, the ancient Greek philosophy through the continuous absorption, utilization and transformation, gradually in the process is its own doctrinal and theoretical system, and finally formed his own theoretical system --Christian theology. The philosophy of this paper the idea of God and its relationship with the complex and obscure in a sense, Christian theology is Christian philosophy, especially in the long middle ages. As with the decline of ancient Greek and Roman civilizations, it has also come to the rational spirit implying the decline of Christian faith, Christian theology is absorbed in the rational spirit of Greek philosophy on the basis of the formation of Christian doctrine, and the spirit of ancient Greek philosophy of rational heritage in the Middle Ages have made indelible contributions to modern Western philosophy which is born out directly from them, and therefore, as a Christian philosophy into Christian theology is also not a bad idea. This paper discusses the concept of God in Western Philosophy, which ancient Greek philosophy and Christian faith have suffered post-Christian philosophy has been to the nineteenth-century German classical philosophy in the idea of God. During the history of philosophy, the idea of God is mainly characterized by the two contrasting philosophical form: medieval Christian concept of God and the rational view of modern philosophy. Indeed, any philosophical theory of evolution is not a direct leap from one peak to another one, and thus the evolutional concept of God is no exception, but also experienced a long and complex history and logic of the process after evolving. Be based on that, let us believe that medieval Christianity the idea of God has experienced the evolution of these major stages: the first is from the Christian doctrine of creation to the formation of Augustine. During this time, due to absorption of the Christian faith in the rational spirit of Greek philosophy and the stage of the formation of its own theoretical system, and therefore, higher than the rational belief, belief in the absolute dominance of reason in view of God is from the formation of auxiliary effect. Then, it is from the birth of scholasticism to the establishment of Thomism. In this period, although the macro is still the belief that the idea of God, but because of the emergence of a crisis of faith, to a certain extent, already gradually penetrate into the rational aspects of the Christian faith, led to the spread of Christian faith and the secularization of Christian Doctrine also improves. At this point, the internal emergence of the"double truth theory"is the belief in the truth and philosophy. Thomas, though not completely deny the theory, but made a new interpretation of its dual truth that is the truth just to reach the same two ways of human knowledge, reason and faith are the same thing, and God is the only truth. With the Renaissance and the religious reform carried out, the medieval church along with the collapse of authoritarian and feudal system, and the rational spirit of the Renaissance in Europe began, coupling with the rise of natural science and so abstract, all playing for the modern western philosophy to create a good atmosphere and laid a solid foundation. Rational modern Western philosophy took this banner, regroup and move on. Of course, a thousand years of western medieval mind also left a deep imprint of God in the soul of the western end of life to continue, therefore, still left a modern philosophy of God figure. However, this already is not God the God of the old Christian philosophy, and became a rational voice. Modern Western philosophy, generally speaking the idea of God is a rational idea of God, however, inherited from the Middle Ages to the beginning of the birth of realism and nominalism of the debate, the formation of two distinctive schools of philosophy. On the traditional school of British empiricism and accepted the mantle of realism school of continental rationalism. The former is a naturalized view of God, which is the rational idea of God (natural mainly refers to the natural reason, experience, reason, or in the ordinary sense, intellectual sense, reason, rationality refers primarily speculative reason). In this way, the God of the Christian faith philosophy was naturalized and rational replaced. Dominant in the era of rational, God captured by rational gradually and eventually fade in philosophy. Contest between reason and faith, to re-establish the authority of reason and ended. The system view of the above concept of God in Western Philosophy evolution process, is fundamentally a rational philosophy in the West difficult road of rehabilitation.
