In this paper, the object of study in public colleges and universities in Xinjiang, the status of art curriculum and research, including Xinjiang, 10 Art courses in public colleges and universities curriculum structure, course type, and course content; literature method, questionnaire, interview, comparative research method is the main research methods of this paper.The strengthening of our colleges and universities, arts education, the core lies in curriculum construction. At present, Xinjiang University's public art program is still in the process of continuous improvement, the paper collection of 10 colleges and universities in Xinjiang, as well as several colleges and universities in the Mainland of public art curriculum information, colleges and universities in Xinjiang in the analysis of several colleges and universities with the mainland public Fine Arts curriculum structure, curriculum and course content of the type proposed on the basis of Xinjiang to strengthen arts education in colleges and universities should improve the structure of courses, elective courses are not only arbitrary, but also restrictive, or the development of general education required courses; course type should be appreciation of classes, theories and techniques classes are three types of classes are available, complete the course only with the type hierarchy; course content should also be based on local characteristics of Xinjiang, content rich and varied, allowing students to choose different based on their love of the arts curriculum, and enhance China multi-ethnic areas of fine arts students the basics of art appreciation ability and artistic accomplishment.
