The Study On Counterculture In Culture Industry

The development of culture industry, a newly rising industry in China, is gaining momentum every day. Due to its big developmental potential and possibility, culture industry will further promote the development of economy in China. However, as an industry whose core is culture, the development of culture industry meets a difficult situation in which culture alienates from or even runs in the opposite direction to the nature of itself, i.e. counterculture. Due to the critical situation caused by counterculture which has severely impacted the healthy development of culture industry, it's necessary to carry out study on this field. Along the development of culture industry, counterculture displays its distinct characteristics in the developmental history. To discuss the cause of formation of counterculture, we should grab the key factor---culture, which means to analyze the intrinsic mechanism of counterculture based on the nature of culture, in the mean time, we should also recognize the significance of social environment which nourishes the counterculture. Only by this way can we better grasp the nature of counterculture and then form strategic ideas of how to prevent culture industry stepping into the path of counterculture. Coping the counterculture problems existing in culture industry is a complicated and systematic project, in which governance, culture legislation and culture value inheritance play greatly important roles. To inhibit the side effects caused by counterculture which hinder the normal development of culture industry, above three aspects should be perfected and coordinate with each other. Moreover, the study on counterculture not only matters for the development of national culture industry, but also need to us think from the strategic perspective of national culture security. Both cultural trade and culture security will be benefited from the study.
