Diderot said: the truth and virtue are two close friends of arts. As an important part of human civilization, art and morality are complementary and inseparable. It is an important way to foster a good humanity spirit and innovation talent by valuing the combination of morality and art in the process of moral building. As an ancient art, opera is paid much attention naturally; people try to achieve the joint development by letting opera and morality's"intimate contact". So, the morality workers in our country should re-examine the function of morality, explore new ideas of its mode in the new situation of social development, and find the breakthrough of reform and innovation. However, the current research status shows that the results of research in this area are still in its infancy. The results mostly independently review the relationship between the moral education or professional opera art, neglect the depth of excavation of its nature and function. The absence of theory and disorder of the practice lead to the function of opera art alienation or weaken inevitably. It is in this background, this paper tries to dig deeper into the moral function of opera art, explore and search for ways to ways to realize its morality education and in order to provide theoretical support and the method and path to play better the opera's morality function.This paper starts from the large number of ancient and modern literatures, through the depth of excavation of opera art and morality education's content, explores actively the theoretical origin of opera art and morality education's combination, plays a strong theoretical basis of opera art's morality function's exertion. At the same time, with case analysis, this paper tries to create solid practical basis of opera art's morality function's exertion by restoring life vividly and intuitive. The author bases on the many years'morality education experience of working in Art College, with a large number of opera art first-hand information, analyze and deep think its o challenges and in-depth problems. In this paper, the author analyzes the innovation cases from some theaters and performance groups, explores its universality and ways to achieve, and innovates the new ways, benefits practical aspects.The first part, this paper analyzes opera art and morality function's characteristics and values, explore the deep theoretical foundation of its connection, in order to construct theoretical basis. The second part, this paper annotates its challenges facing the era multi-dimensional and multi-perspective by using professional knowledge and typical cases. This part also summarizes and analyzes its problems and weakness under the background of market economic development, cultural industries, the era of innovation, global integration trends, and multiple values. The third part, based on the above research, analyzes the effective typical cases of opera art and morality education, aiming at the approaching ways, studies preliminary from personnel training, cultural heritage, the program of reform and innovation, the modern transformation, market operation, the "four modernizations" construction, and tries to plays important ways of its morality function, opens up and strengthen the new ideas of working ways.In short, this paper tries to restore our art and morality life more intuitive and vividly, so that the study will achieve practical and theoretical significance. It's much amazing of opera art's morality function.
