Since the reform and opening up, the development of China’s economic has made a remarkable achievement and become the world’s second-largest economy. At the same time, due to a combination of factors,such as the dross legacy of traditional culture, impact of foreign multicultural and bias of school education that focus more intelligence than moral,etc,so that the decline of nation’s moral quality makes people heartbroken. In order to improve this situation, academics from different perspectives put forward many countermeasures, this paper decide to find new path that aims to solve this problem through obtaining resources from the Chinese traditional culture.Throughout the history of five thousand years of Chinese civilization, the Chinese culture has a long, colorful and profound. Summarizing the Chinese culture, in a sense, means that the foundation of Chinese traditional culture is a culture about filial piety. The ancients once said that "Filial piety is the most important of all virtues, Lewdness is the worst of all sins. So this word, "filial piety", has branded engraved in our lives, directed our words and deeds and guided the direction of social progress. Filial piety also refers to the ethics and traditional virtues that Chinese nation has always respected. However, with the changing times and the development of history, the current culture of filial piety could not adapt with people’s lives, therefore,the traditional filial piety and cultural should keep pace with the times, in order to play its role effectively. Based on our current situation about serious decline of the social moral,through the interpret to the function of moral education about traditional culture of filial piety,it will provide some suggestions to improve the moral environment.Besides the introduction, the main body of the article is divided into four parts. The first part is an overview of Chinese traditional culture of filial piety, which mainly expounds the historical origin, development course, main content,and its scientific evaluation of traditional filial piety culture. The second part is the moral function of the Chinese traditional culture of filial piety education,mainly from three aspects to discuss.The culture of filial piety is the foundation of cultivating the individuals.Secondly, filial piety culture is the treasure for the families. Last,culture of filial piety is the statecraft for a country. The third part is the factors for restricting Chinese traditional culture of filial piety education function, from inside and outside reasons,which include the traditional filial piety culture history limitations, the social foreign culture of filial piety culture shock, the imbalance between school education and intelligence, child doting from their parents and selfish modern people causing interpersonal alienation. The fourth part is the strategy to realize Chinese traditional culture of filial piety in moral education, according to the third part of the analysis taking appropriate actions,to summarize the moral trial strategy of the filial piety education function from the filial piety culture innovation,creating knowing filial piety of the social environment, the construction of school culture of filial piety education foundation, building inter generational transfer of filial piety family and personal immune. At the end of the article, the author calls for the value of the times from the traditional culture to solve a series of problems encountered in the development of our nation.
