| "Piaoyou(Opera lover)" in Chinese opera is the initial pronoun of the current word "FANS", sprouting during the reigns of Qianlong of Qing. As the society develops, electronics like broadcasting stations, voice recorders, and radios step into Chinese market, the number of people who are full of enthusiasm for music increases and the new identity pronouns like "Fashaoyou(Fancier)" appear. The improvement of living standards, popularity of TV as well as spreading of foreign pop music all foster people's pursuit for their spiritual world. Subsequently, idol worshipping emerges and identity pronouns like "Gemi(Song admirer)", "Zhuixingzu(Star chaser)" turn up.Though the words "Piaoyou(Opera lover)", "Fashaoyou(Fancier)", "Gemi(Song admirer)", "Zhuixingzu(Star chaser)" appear earlier than "FANS" and contains the characteristics of "FANS", this foreign word represents a more formal and cohesive group who develops continuously in its own operational mode. The word "FANS" came to light in 2004, got people's recognition in 2005 through the program Super Girl launched by Hunan TV and then begins its growth and development in the real sense. With Super Junior and Jay Chou'fans clubs as research objects, the thesis employs the methodology of ethnomusicology, makes an investigation on fans clubs both through the internet and in the real life, and analyzes the relevant materials of music texts, trying to explore the construction and operation of fans club, as well as resolving the cultural attributes of fans club.The thesis is consisted of introduction, body part and conclusion, with body part being divided into four chapters. As regards the first chapter, it describes historically the formation and development of FANS, and makes a classification about FANS. From the perspective of historical development, Piaoyou(Opera lover), Fashaoyou(Fancier), Gemi(Song admirer), and Zhuixingzu(Star chaser) all are the similar identifications of FANS; from the perspective of its own nature, FANS can also be classified into occupational FANS, amateur FANS and professional FANS; from the objects they prefer, FANS also can be divided into Qinma FANS, Hougong FANS, Gaogui FANS, Banban FANS, Datui FANS and so on.Given the relevant Internet and actual field materials, the second chapter makes a detailed depiction about the formation, current state and operational mode of fans club. The system construction and operating process of fans club have its own method, which reflects the characteristics of standardization. The affection among fans has an essential relation with the establishment of fans club. Form virtual internet to actual life, fans also construct their family paradise with their own special thinking ways and behaviors.The third chapter, mainly form the aspects of fans'original music, the procedure of re-grouping music, the way of music cognition, as well as music thinking, makes an elaboration of fans'music culture. Fans make music themselves, using music language to express their love towards singers; fans recompose musical texts to convey their blessings to singers, showing their support through their behavior originated from their music thinking——all those are fans'effort to prove their actual identity as fans.The fourth chapter makes an analysis of the cultural attributes of fans club. In the developing environment of subculture, fans club will bear more resistance and influence. The collision of different cultures and limitation of different concepts both will result in the change of fans club's cultural attributes. In the final analysis, fans club has those cultural attributes:the properties of subculture and the sense of common belonging, the commodity of music and affection, regularity and discipline, as well as the replicating property. |
