With the development of the times,traditional drama art has gone downhill as to the whole situation of dramatic art.Fewer People love the traditional drama and they are making a hard living.Traditional drama is no longer an art form of popular entertainment.In the Longquanyi District of Chengdu,there is a folk theatrical troupe still playing traditional drama every day for the group of old fans.We spent a year to make the documentary "TO THE TRADITIONAL OPREA FANS WHO WILL FADE AWAY" which intended to make out the destiny of the group of old fans and the traditional drama.This paper mainly discusses the thoughts about the subject of documentary in the process of filming and is divided into three parts.The first part is the inclination of Theme Value,which emphasizes the influence of the group subconsciousness on the interpretation of subject value.The second part is the understanding of the emotional tendency theme,which emphasizes the influence of the uncertainty of the subject's emotional flow during the shooting.The third part is the relationship between theme and narrative,which emphasizes the accuracy of the theme from the narrative perspective.
