Chengdu is located in the middle of Sichuan province, it is on the fertile Chengdu plain. It is the first land for immigrates who lived in Qing dynasty to enter Sichuan. The immigrate with different native places settled down in Sichuan by occupying land, planting land, purchasing land and land tenure. They set up a mixed society. Due to the difference of regional culture, and social changes, the conflict of immigrate has increased day by day. Some had to move to another places, others returned the original places. But, most of immigrates decided to settle down and met their ancestral skeletal and relatives to Sichuan. After that, they through industrious cultivation, development of production, and other immigrant intermarriage, reconstruction of clan and social organization, broad participation in local development, to gradually integrate into the local community. At last, They not only retained their own special culture but also created new culture. This paper selects Chengdu government as the studying case, and analysed through three aspects such as the landing of the immigrants, settling and assimilating to discuss the entire integrating process. It replays the lively scene of the immigrating society, and reflects the wish of a harmonious society and the historical trend of immigration fusion through immigrants happiness and sorrow.
