On Gramsci's Theory Of Hegemony And It's Inspiration

Antonio Gramsci was one of the early representative of Western Marxism,his"Prison Notebooks","Letters from Reader","Selections from political writings"is well—knowm classics,and the"Prison Notebooks"have systematically expounded the ideas for Proletariat how to won the ideological leadership in the western developed countries ,and finally won the right of political leadership——the ideas of Hegemony.As one of the founders of the Communist party of Italy ,Granmsci has been committed to the liberation of the proletariat for a long time,he has inherited and developed the Marxist theory,while absorbed and learned the experience of Proletarian revolutionary movement in Russia, he combined the current situation of bourgeois rule of Mussolini in Italy.And he development and innovatde the absorbed experience of the Russian Revolution,and then in practice of Proletarian revolutionary struggles,Gramsci summarized his powerful theoretical weapon——in the society of bourgeois rule, which has experienced the age of enlightment and is full of freedom,democracy,equality,if Proletariat want to win the revolution ,they should have to start from"civil society",and then combined the organic intellectuals and organic ingredients of traditional intellectuals,use the two approaches of warfare and positional warfare,on the legitimacy of"consentment",firstly win the ideological leadership which is also knowledge and moral leadership,only in this way, Proletarian revolutionary may has opportunity to win the right of political leadership,and to gain a further consolidation of the status of the proletariat.Gramsci's Hegemony has left a new thinking perspective which is different from Marxist Perspective for later thinking of how to win proletarian political right.In the inheritance and development of Frankfurt and the late 90,20th century's cultural imperialism theorists, Hegemony shows new content in every age,and form"New Gramcsi School". Frankfurt's thought of critics to mass culture and it's thought of science and technology as ideology,inculding cultural imperialism theorists's thought that post culture as every national's competitive weight in cold-war time,all of these thoghts is a promtion of Hegemony,they make a relationship between cultural—ideological and consolidation of leadership. For current reality when the world political pattern is diversity,and for China which has five thousand history of culture,this has provided some inspirations of how to maintain the rule of proletariat and improve Hegemony.And also this has opened a new thought perspective that is how to strengthen the attractiveness and cohesiveness of socilalist core value system with Chinese characteristics.
