A growing number of researchers in the academic filed start to attach importance to two fields, one is the field of emotional intelligence, and the other is the entrepreneurial field. This article will study the two fields, and select two issues from the entrepreneurial field. The purpose of this paper is to explore effects of the emotional intelligence on entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention, which can help enhance the individual's entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention from the perspective of improving the emotional intelligence.On the basis of the previous research, the literature review, questionnaires and other methods were used to revise the entrepreneurial self-efficacy scale and entrepreneurial intention scale in China. In addition, the relationship of the emotional intelligence, entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention was also explored. 650 questionnaires were issued in this research, and 502 effective questionnaires were discussed. Exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, regression analysis and structural equation modeling were also applied to data analysis. The main conclusions are as following:Firstly, the entrepreneurial self-efficacy of the college students in China is a six-dimensional structure, including: innovation efficacy, opportunity identification efficacy, relationship coordination efficacy, risk-undertaking efficacy, commitment efficacy and entrepreneurial learning efficacy. The entrepreneurial self-efficacy scale of the college students has high reliability and validity according to the requirements of psychometric.Secondly, the entrepreneurial intention scale of the college students includes 5 items and has high reliability and validity according to the requirements of psychometric. Thirdly, the research explored the relation of emotional intelligence, entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention. The conclusions were drawn: (1) emotional intelligence can positively predict entrepreneurial intention; (2) emotional intelligence can positively predict entrepreneurial self-efficacy; (3) entrepreneurial self-efficacy can positively predict entrepreneurial intention ; (4)entrepreneurial self-efficacy played a total mediating effect in emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial intention.Fourthly, comparing whether college students had entrepreneurial experience or not, conclusions were drawn: whether the students had entrepreneurial experience or not is significantly different in the application of emotional intelligence. The students had entrepreneurial experience is better than the students without experience.
