Chen Weisong, a famous writer from the beginning years of Qing Dynasty. He was literary talented and famous when he was young, and was honoured as'the big three of the beginning years of Qing Dynasty'with Zhu Yinzun and Nalan Xingde. His works, especially the ci poetry, were well-known by the world. He was the suzerain of Yangxian School, and had far-reaching influence in ci-circle in the Qing Dynasty. Regrettably, the scholars pay much attention on his ci poetry and article, but they ignore his poetry, and has less research production which mismathches his splendid creation. In this paper, the poetry of Chen Weisong is our study object. We discuss the poetical thoughts, creation and artistic characteristic from multiple angles, combing description and explanation.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part mainly makes a further discussion on the poetical thoughts of Chen Weisong. We try to form the the poetry of Chen Weisong through the investigation on the source of the poetry of Chen Weisong, the analysis on the'the poetry expresses true thinking and feeling', the exploration on the notion of'loud and clear syllable and misty circumstances'. In the second part, we analyze the categorization from its content. His poems, which contains the scope rise and fall, the sufferings of the flower and sad history, the experience of travelling among the splendid landscape and the experience of grief , have multiplical themes and abundant contents. These poems write down the image of the poet's life experience and feeling, which can be regarded as poet's life history and JEERO. According to the J-Teisai, we discuss the artistic style and figurative language of his poems. His poems have different style according to its J-Teisai. His classical poems are liquid and fluent; his octaves are depressed cadent, bleak-styled; His Qijue is mournful but flowery, and very fluent and implicit; His Wujue is pure and fresh, simple and elegant, floridity and agility, which has heartshaking artistic infectivity.
