Research Into Chinese Words In Modern Vietnamese Vocabularies

Vietnam is china's neighbors with the same border. For a long time the friendship relationship between two countries like a bridge gather people of two countries move forward together. In terms of language, due to historical issues that influenced Vietnamese vocabulary from the Chinese words, has left the Vietnamese vocabulary system of a large number of Chinese words.Vietnamese linguists called this kind of words is"Vietnammese– Chinese words". In this essay mainly study in"Vietnamese– Chinese words". First I want to study some aspects about history, development and position of Chinese words in modern Vietnamese vocabulary . Due to time limitations, we could not conduct the actual investigation and survey, so that all statistics are surveyed and investigated from the"Vietnamese Dictionary. 6316 Chinese words are counted from 45757 words in this dictionary about 14 percent, it is suitable with the requirements conditions of my research essay. From there statistics, we conducted a survey, compare with the modern Chinese words and with the other researcher's results, analyze and classify the Vietnamese– Chinese words. We finally classified these into three types of terms. There are 4326 words and phrases in Vietnamese– Chinese words means essentially the same respective meanings in modern Chinese words. There are 416 words and phrases in Vietnamese– Chinese words means totally different from modern Chinese words. There are 1574 words and phrases in Vietnamese– Chinese words means both same and different from modern Chinese words. So I found some advantages that can impact in teaching matters, in particular this is the effects and difficulties for Vienamese students to learn Chinese and Chinese students to learn Vietnamese and the method to solve this difficulties.
