The Correlative Study About Imitation And Conscience With The Childern Who Are Aged From 20to28 Months

Conscience is a central concept of morality and is also fundamental features of individual successful socialization .Conscience is about a inner sense what is right and what is wrong . It drives the individual to the postive aspect in moral motivation and behavior .Moral conscience is a reflection in real society and self-awareness to moral responsbility .The level of individual conscience development has very important meaning to their adjustment to social life , the structure of social organization ,mental healthy and individual ability of social morality . At present, for the understanding of conscience, people generally tend to combine moral cognition, moral feeling and moral behavior. They consider that conscience is the organic unity of the three sides. However, for the study of children's conscience, people concentrate more on the moral feeling and moral behavior. And for the study of affecting factors of children's conscience mainly focus on the individual temperament and environment. Nowadays, imitation is one of the environments that people are more concerned about. Some scholars think that imitation is the key factor of conscience development, but inland still lacks this aspect of study now. So, our study aims at proving the relation between international children's imitation and its conscience development, enriching China's results of child psychology and educational research, and offering reference for family education.This study choose the children form 20 to 22 months as the object of study.This study adopted situational observation method to measure children's imitaion and the state of development of conscience . Children's imitation and their conscience developmental level six later were recorded by video.Finally , the structure of children's conscience from 26 to 28 months ,the relationship of children's imitation and their conscience , the relationship of children's imitation and the dimensions of conscience and the gender differences of children's imitation and conscience are analyzed by correlation analysis, regression analysis through SPSS software.The conclusions of the research are as follows :(1) Conscience of children between 26 and 28 months is made up of three dimensions,they are cognition,behavior and emotion .(2) The imitation of children between 20 and 22 months is significantly positively related to their conscience development six months later; the imitation of children between 20 and 22 months is positively related to each aspect of their conscience after six months,the results of further regression analysis show that the imitation of children can significantly predict their conscience development .(3) Children's imitation from 20 to 22 months and their gender differences in the development of conscience are not obvious .
