The Research On Ye Mengde And His Ci Poerty

Ci poetry as a kind of Literature type came into being during the Sui-Tang dynasty, matured in medium-term Tang period and got brilliant achievements in Two Song periods. Many Ci poets and Ci volumes appeared at that time. Ye Mengde experienced four dynasties of Zhe, Wei, Qin, Gaozong and he was a person who had high social status and influence on political history and belletristic history at metaphase period of Two Songs.《The Shi Lin Ci》that was written by Ye Mengde had got a great reputation in Nandu periods (from the end of the North Song to the beginning of the South Song) of Song dynasty. However, he and his writings are studied less than other poets. This thesis is trying to study on Ye Mengde's life and his work---Shi Lin CiYe Mengde and the investigation status quo and the expectant breakthrough of Shi Lin Ci are described in the introduction. The first chapter dissertates all his life, mainly including his family, native place, work and his life and characters chronicly. Ye Mengde regarded the honor and disgrace as a plain thing. He was a careful and responsible official. He did a lot of practical things. Even when he was supplanted, he was able to leave unperturbedly. He enjoyed the elegant life of a scholar-bureaucrat. The second chapter dissertates the general situation of Shi Lin Ci including the background, subject matter. The words which were used in Shi Lin Ci and expressed the meaning of quiet, comfortable unfixed and patriotic are the most characteristic of the Ci volume. The third chapter discusses the artistic style of Shi Lin Ci---powerful, heroic, graceful, restrained and beauteous and chapter introduces the historical status of Shi Lin Ci.At the epilogue, based on the dissertation above, we can know Ye Mengde was a very important poet in the Nandu period of Song Dynasty and because of the particular style; Shi Lin Ci played a very important role in the history of Ci.
