The Song Dynasty was a period of great economic and cultural prosperity in Chinese history, and it was also a critical period in the history of the Chinese language in which the ancient and the modern were transformed and the literary and philosophical ebb and flow.At this time, literati created a large number of note-taking novels with various contents, leaving a large number of records about the traditional vocabulary of the time, which can be used for the study of the history of Chinese vocabulary. In this paper, the basic research corpus is based on the four notes and novels written by Ye Mengde,Bishu Luhua,Yanxia Fangyan,Shilin Yanyu and Yujian Zashu. At the same time,we refer to the spoken and dialect corpus of other eras to compare synchronic and diachronic evolution.Combined,a special study on the evolution and distribution of new words, new meanings, spoken words and some commonly used words in Ye Mengde’s notebook novels. The research content is as follows: The introduction systematically sorts out the corpus nature, corpus value, research status and vocabulary characteristics of Ye Mengde’s notebook novels, and then introduces the research methods and research goals of the full text on this basis. In the first chapter,we investigate three common word meaning fields in Ye Mengde’s notebook novels, which are the ending meaning field composed of Jie,Qing,Jin,Qiong,Bi,Ba,Wan,dumping field composed of Dao,Xie,Zhen,Zhuo,Teng and Shai, falling meaning field composed of Diao,Luo,Die and Tuo.These three groups of semantic fields belong to the common action verb meaning field. The second chapter examines the new words and meanings in Ye Mengde’s notebook novels. These new words and new meanings objectively record the social life at that time, economic prosperity, the development of the imperial examination system, and the exchanges between countries are reflected in the new words and new meanings. The third chapter systematically sorts out the colloquial and colloquial words in Ye Mengde’s notes. The concluding part summarizes the diachronic replacement of common words, new words and new meanings and the spoken words reflected in the research on the vocabulary of Ye Mengde’s notebook novels, summarizes the research results, and discusses the language represented by historical documents and regional dialects in the vocabulary research of the special book.Put forward some thoughts on issues such as system connections and the reasons for differences. The main conclusions drawn are as follows: The corpus value of Ye Mengde’s notes is firstly reflected in the strong spoken language and large vocabulary capacity;secondly,Ye Mengde’s notes contain a large number of records about the use of social language vocabulary at the time, including text collation, interpretation of ancient words,Explain vocabulary, correct phonology, etc.;third,Ye Mengde’s notes are rich in common words.Through the investigation of the diachronic substitution and synchronic distribution of the three sets of common word sense fields,it is highlighted that the change of Mandarin affects the status of common words in language use,and reflects the characteristics of the synchronic distribution of vocabulary and diachronic development in the same line. The evolution of commonly used words is geographically unbalanced and has repetitive overlap in time.New words are basically two-syllable words, and three-syllable or multi-syllable words account for a very small part.Among these polysyllabic words, the way of word formation is mostly formal and combined. The Chinese vocabulary system has already had a significant influence. The diphonetic trend of vocabulary in modern Chinese is more obvious. The same is true for the new words in Ye Mengde’s notebook novels. Many new words have distinct characteristics of the times, reflecting the social customs, famous things, and other things in the Northern Song Dynasty.Official positions, rules and regulations, etc. The colloquial and colloquial words in Ye Mengde’s notebook novels have distinct characteristics of the times, which embodies the language and social features of the Song Dynasty, but most of the words have not been handed down. Most spoken words are dominated by double syllables, with a large number of them, and their replacement speed is very fast.In addition to the internal competition of the vocabulary system, the degree of social development is also an important influencing factor. |
