Objective: To investigate the difference of the Clinical Characteristics between the Han and the Uygur patients with somatization disorder. Methods:Select patients in psychologic medicine division of The first hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from June 2008 to October 2009, 91 somatization disorder patients, including 47 Han and 44 Uygur patients. Two group were evaluated with questionnaires of complaint symptoms, Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90), Eysenek's Personazity Questionnaire(EPQ), Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD), Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA). Then the data were analyzed by the SPSS13.0 software, P<0.05was looked as statistical significance. Results: In terms of clinical characters, the pain of ossature and muscle is less in the Uygur patients, the symptom of headache is less in the Han patients. The scores of interpersonal relationship and hostile factor in the Han patients are significantly higher than the Uygur patients(P<0.01); The score of EPQ-E in the Uygur patients is are significantly higher than the Han patients(P<0.01); The scores of HAMD and HAMA in the Han patients are significantly higher than the Uygur patients(P<0.01or P<0.05). Conclusions: There are some commonnesses as well some differentias in Clinical Characteristics between the Uygur and Han patients.
