Objective: To investigate the clinical features of patients with Anorectal Somatization Disorder, raise the awareness of medical staff of anorectal somatization disorder.Methods: We made a questionnaire according to the projects which the research needed, including the patient’s name, sex, age, education level, occupation, family economic situation, the course, the main complaint, concurrent symptoms, family history, etc. We investigated 54 patients diagnosed with anorectal somatization disorder,investigators need to adopt standardized guidance language according to the contents of the questionnaire in a relatively quiet environment, and ask patients for statistics,then list detailed records and make statistical analysis of the results.Results: There are more female patients than male(χ2 = 8.963,P = 0.003 <0.05);There are significant difference on marital status( χ2 = 117.704, P = 0.000 <0.01);the average age of onset is 50 years old, the shortest duration is from half a month, up to 30 years; anorectal somatization disorder occurrence is correlated with their education level(χ2 = 7.000, P = 0.030 <0.05), and with their family economic situation(χ2 = 13.407, P = 0.004 <0.05), and their career(χ2 = 13.926, P = 0.030 <0.05); The clinical symptoms are complex and diverse, the most common symptoms include anal anorectal fall(74.1%), anal blockage(66.7%), swelling and discomfort in the anal(63.0%), anal pain(46.3%), and the distribution of the highest frequency of associated symptoms were easily turn jittery(70.4%), fatigue(68.5%), mood disorders(68.5%), sleep disorders(63.0%) and so on.Conclusion: anorectal somatization disorder occurs mainly in middle-aged people, the incidence of female patients are significently more than male,and married people,lower educational level,disatisfactory occupation, and middle-upper family economic status the disease-prone factors, symptoms are manifested as anal, anal pain, poor stool, anus and anal plug the feeling discomfort, swelling, also associated with symptoms related to the nervous system,digestive and cardiovascular systems,etc.
