The patient's gender, age, address, education level, disease course, marital status, having or no extra-marital sexual history, having or no symptoms, having or no experience of giving birth, income, having or no normative first diagnosis and other related information were recorded and then analysed for the relation between the above mentioned factors and their depression, anxiety. Intervention group and non-intervention group were determined by Randomly assigning 120 participants with their standard scores of SDS and SAS over than 50 points. Intervention groups were given to conventional treatment and psychological intervention and non-intervention group for conventional treatment. After 2 weeks of treatment and stopping in using drugs for 1 week the SDS, SAS scores for these patients were under review and the mycoplasma and chlamydia were checked. Results:The incidence rate of depression and anxiety for patients with mycoplasma and chlamydia infections was 18.2% and 25.3% separately. Compared with the standard score of normal depression and anxiety for Chinese people, the SDS and SAS standard scores for patients with mycoplasma and chlamydia infections were higher than them(p<0.05). The age of patients with mycoplasma and chlamydia infections had little effect on the SDS and SAS standard scores(p>0.05). After psychological intervention and compared with first diagnosis, the SDS and SAS standard scores for these patients were decreased obviously(p<0.05). The effect of treatment for mycoplasma and chlamydia infections patients showed that it was better for the intervention group than the control group(p<0.05).Conclusions:1. patients with mycoplasma and chlamydia infections had common mental disorder. In this survey for 731 patients with mycoplasma and chlamydia infections, their depression, anxiety rates were 18.2% and 25.3% separately.
