Etiological Factor, Prevention And Cure Of Deep Venous Thrombosis Complicated By Fracture

Objection: To investigate the Etiological factor,prevention and cure of deep venous thrombosis complicated by fracture.Methods: 46 subjects were included in the study, which got DVT trouble after fracture during January 2007 and February 2010. In all the 46 cases, there were 22 males and 24 females, aged from 28 to 88 years old. Fractures took place in different parts of body: 6 fractures of femoral neck, one fracture of femurs haft, 8 fractures of shaft of femur, 10 fractures of knee joint, 6 fractures of tibiofibula, one fracture of ankle joint, 3 fractures of cervical spine and spinal cord injuries, 4 fractures of thoracic vertebral, one fracture of lumbar vertebrae, and 7 fractures of other parts. After fractures 14 cases are of expectant treatment, the other 32 cases were cured by surgery,with 8 cases of gneral anesthesia. 10 cases got thrombus in right side of body, others in the left side. Thrombus was shaped 4 hours to 15 days after fractures. 2 cases were complicated with serious heart diease, 17 cases with hypertension,one case got pulmonary embolism, one case died.Results: 21 cases of fully recovery, 10 cases of significant effectiveness and 14 cases of effectiveness. One case died of pulmonary embolism, the total effective power was 97.83%.
