Clinical Stages And Treatment Of Acute Transient Synovitis Of Hip Joint In Children

Objective:To exlore the clinical stages and treatment of acute transient synovitis of the hip in children.Methods:Retrospectively analyzed one thousand and twenty-one patients(male:804,female:217) by reexamination,telephones,letters and so on.TSH was divided into four clinical stages according to course,eclinical manifestations,imaging examinations.The treatment which include immobilization,traction physical therapy and medicines was performed.All the patients were followed up for six months to eight years.Results:(1)The staging is as follows:199 cases in stageI,334 cases in stageâ…¡,467 cases in stageâ…¡, 21 cases in stageIV.(2)1021 cases had no pains,no complication and obtained normal function of the involved hip.15 cases relapsed.4 cases developed to Perthes disease.Conclusion:The correct clinical staging of TSH can help judge the patients' condition,guide the treatment and improve the prognosis.Proper treatment can prevent the deferment or deterioration of the condition,and the femural head from necrosi.
