Objective:To investigate the levels of blood glucose, blood lipids and blood uric acid in patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods:To take a retrospective research method, 290 patients with Parkinson's disease received a medical examination in the outpatient service and the hospital ward of the first affiliated hospital of the Xinjiang medical university during 2002.1-2009.7, who were chosen as cases of illness group. And 290 healthy persons whose age, sex and nationality matched the Parkinson's disease patients were chosen as control group. The levels of blood glucose, blood lipids and blood uric acid (BUA) were examined, and compared them between the two groups. Results:Compared with the normal people, the detection rate of hyperglycemia was higher in Parkinson's patients (P<0. 05), and the level of 2 hours postprandial blood glucose (2hPBG) was higher in Parkinson's patients (P<0. 05). Compared with the normal people, the levels of blood lipids in Parkinson's patients were lower (P<0. 05). The level of BUA in Parkinson's patients was lower (P<0. 05). The result of analysis logistic showed higher 2hPBG, lower blood lipids, lower blood uric acid were positive correlation to Parkinson's disease (P<0.05). Conclusion: The detection rate of hyperglycemia and the level of 2hPBG in Patients with Parkinson's disease increased. The levels of blood lipids, blood uric acid in Patients with Parkinson's disease decreased. Hyperglycemia, lower blood lipids and lower blood uric acid are possibly the risk factors of Parkinson's disease. To hint that we should monitor and control the levers of blood glucose, blood lipids, blood uric acid in our clinical working, further it can provide the laboratory base for preventing and curing of PD.
