The Investigate Of Effect Of Musk Snail Cream Umbilical External Application On Intervention Bladder Dysfunction After Extensive Hysterectomy

Objective: To evaluation the effect of Musk snail cream umbilical external application prevented bladder dysfunction after extensive hysterectomy.Methods: From January 2009 to January 2010, 60 cases of cervical cancer and endometrial cancer patients were implement extensive hysterectomyand pelvic lymph node dissection, lymphadenoectomy biopsy or not were divided into two groups, respectively 30 cases. The urine tests failure after 12 days of operatation, and The study group adopt mashed musk and snail external application umbilicus,then cover Medical tape to fix it., but The control group continue to adopt the way of bladder gymnastics. We compared the two groups by the time of sense of bladder filling, bladder residual urine volume less than 100ml,at the same time, satisfactory urine output and evaluate the effect of intervention bladder function by musk snail cream.Results: (1) No significant differences emerged in demographic and clinical characte- ristics in two groups, including age, body mass index, operation time, hemorrhage(P>0.05); (2) The time of sense of bladder filling, bladder residual urine volume less than 100ml, satisfactory urine output of the musk snail plaster group and the conventional treatment group was significant different(P<0.05).Conclusion: The therapy of Musk snail cream umbilical external application can significantly improve the bladder dysfunction after extensive hysterectomy,and shorten the time of indwelling catheter and satisfactory urine output, furthermore, it is simple, safe and can be easily obtained.
