| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the Auricular-plaster therapy with Scalp Acupuncture in the Treatment of Motor Aphasia after Stroke, and to discuss the significance of attaching the Auricular-plaster therapy to treat this disease. Methlods:The randomized approach and comparative approach had been employed in the clinical research, which observed 60 medicical cases of Motor Aphasia, covering the groups adopted the Auricular-plaster with Scalp Acupuncture (treatment group) and the Scalp Acupuncture (control group) with 30 cases in each group. Both of the groups were treated five days in one week, and the therapeutic effects were observed according to the Aphasia Battery of Chinese (ABC) before and after treatment. Results:1.After a course of treatment, the scores of ABC(speech fluency, information content, confirmation or negation, acoustic recognition, carry out instruction, repetition, word naming, color naming, reaction naming) in two groups were higher at the end of treatment than in the begin (P<0.01).2.The scores of ABC(speech fluency, information content, confirmation or negation, acoustic recognition, carry out instruction, repetition, word naming, color naming, reaction naming) in treatment group was higher than control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:1.Both of the groups were effective in treating patients with Motor Aphasia after Stroke, and the treatment group was remarkable and better than control group. Attaching the Auricular-plaster therapy to Motor Aphasia after Stroke has positive significance.2.The Auricular-plaster therapy with Scalp Acupuncture are the effective combination of all the advantages to treat Motor Aphasia after Stroke with security and efficiency and ecomomical and without side effect. It can improves the recovery of language functions effectively. Therefore, it is worthwhile to put it into practice in clinic. |
