The Observation Of Scalp Acupuncture Combining Language Training For Motor Aphasia After Stroke In Community Treatment

The aphasia is one of the very common dysfunction after stroke.It has a rate of 30.25-42.40 percent in stroke patients.As a common sequela of stroke patients,motor aphasia have an serious influence on their rehabilitations process and quality of live.Now,The motor aphasia which was firstly described is a type also named “Broca aphasia”.the existing circumstance of aphasia treatment is facing the short-period hospitalization,high-cost rehabilitation.So,it is imperative to looking for a simple、effective and cheap rehabilitation program which is suitable for community.Objective:The aim of this research is to observe the effct of scalp acupuncture cambing speech training for motor aphsia afer stroke and to generalize a rehabilitation technical proposal of tradition Chinese medicine which is fitting for community clinic in order to offer convenient,high quality,inexpensive and effective speech therapy service for community patients.Methods:Choosing shaunglong community in Luohe city of Henan province as a experimental unit.64 up-to-standard patients with motor aphasia after stroke were selected in this research.According to the random digits table,The 64 patients were divided into treatment group and control group.32 cases in the each group.The control group received conventional speech training,and the treatment group was added with scalp acupuncture on the basis of control group.The conventional speech training is 5 times per week,which last for 4 weeks.The scalp acupuncture therapy is 30 min per time and 5 times per week,which last for 4 weeks.Two groups were respectively evaluated with China Rehabilitation Research Center Aphasia Examination(CRRACE),Boston Diagnostic Aphasia Examination(BDAE)and modified Barthel index(MBI)before and after treatment and in the moment of 4 weeks of follow-up visit.Date analysis use SPSS19.0 statistical software for statistical analysis.Results:The score of China Rehabilitation Research Center Aphasia Examination(CRRACE),Boston Diagnostic Aphasia Examination(BDAE)and modified Barthel index(MBI)as follows: The difference of score above between two groups has no statistical significance before treatment(P>0.05),so the data of two groups is comparable before treatment.Compared with the score before treatment,the score of two groups after 4 weeks treatment and the moment of 4 weeks follow-up visit are significantly improved in China Rehabilitation Research Center Aphasia Examination(CRRACE),Boston Diagnostic Aphasia Examination(BDAE)and modified Barthel index(MBI),with significant difference(P<0.05),showing that the scalp acupuncture combining speech training on motor aphasia after stroke has obvious curative effect.The difference of score above between two groups has statistical significance after treatment(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of treatment group compared with control group are better in China Rehabilitation Research Center Aphasia Examination(CRRACE),Boston Diagnostic Aphasia Examination(BDAE)and modified Barthel index(MBI)Showing that the effect of treatment group is better than control group.In addition,the cost of community treatment is much lower than that in lager rehabilitation center.Conclusion:1.Scalp acupuncture combining speech training can improve the speech disorder after stroke,and it is a kind of effective method for treating motor aphasia after stroke.2.The community rehabilitation can offer a convenient,high quality and inexpensive medical service,which made patients receive professional therapy nearby their homes.
