The Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Chronic Urticaria By Hua Tan Qu Yu Tang

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Hua Tan Qu Yu Tang(HTQYT) decoction in the treatment of chronic urticaria.Metheods We divided 60 cases equally into two groups according to the different method applied. Group A treated by HTQYT.Group B treated with Cetirizine hydrochloride Left.Itch,thenumber and scale of rash, the frequency and while of paroxysm, thevalue of VAS and SSRI were used to monitor the disease activity.Results In group A, the total effective rate was 66.7%.In group B,the total effective rate was 80%.There is no significant difference shown between two groups in the rates of effectivenes(P>0.05).The significant difference about the value of VAS and the integral of symptoms was shown statistically before and after treatment in all groups(P<0.01).In reduction of relapse rate, HTQYT and Cetirizine hydrochloride Left have significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion HTQYT and Cetirizine hydrochloride are both effective treatments to blood-sputum acute chronic urticaria.At the same time HTQYT is superior to in the clinical efficacy.
