Objective:(1)To identify the status of quality of life and explore the related factors of the quality of life scale of drug addict (QOLDA) among heroin users during compulsory rehabilitation period. (2)To observe the effect of continue nursing intervention in heroin dependences during detoxification and to provide evidences for improving the model of intervene in addiction treatment center. (3)To study the status of the quality of life before relapse of patients with heroin abuse,and to explore the psychological-social problems in community rehabilitation.Methods:From June 2008 to January 2009,240 heroin users were assessed in Tianjin An Kang Hospital.The questionnaire which includes state of anxiety and trait anxiety (STAI), QOLDA and social support rating scale (SRSS).The datum of the questionnaires and scales were analyzed via descriptive analysis, factor analysis, multiple stepwise regression analysis,and phenomenology method. Then,12 patients before relapse were participated in non-structured interview.Results:1.The basic information240 cases of heroin users'mean age is 32.5 years (32.5±6.3).In addition, most of the addicts are male (86%).On the side, education uneven, mainly junior high school and primary school only cultural.Moreover, the crowed of about 32% are unmarried.Besides, every day, the respondents consume heroin about(1.0±0.5) g. Futhermore, the patients'admission time is about 45 days.About 200 cases of heroin users used intravenous drugs.2.There is no statistical significance in the difference of quality of life scores between my research results and research results in the past (P>0.05).3.The reliability and validity for QOLDAThe validity and reliability analysis showed that these scales had good validity and reliability. The score of reliability is greater than 0.84 and the four dimensionality are all greater than 0.40.4.The correlation analysis of datum Studies documented that the quality of life scores are significantly correlated with age of patients, times of detoxification, total admission time, means of abuse, state anxiety(SAI),trait anxiety (TAI),subjective, objective, use of sustain and the total score of SRSS.5.The cox regression analysis of QOLDAMeans of abuse impacts the patients'scores of physical function (PH) (P=0.049). Patients admission time has great influence on the scores psychological function(PS) (P=0.023).Symptom function (ST) is influenced by means of abuse and times of detoxification (P=0.002,0.029).Age affects scores of social function (S)(P=0.025). Objective has great influence on PS and S (P=0.033,0.049).The total scores of SRSS influences the scores of PS, ST and S (P=0.028,0.048,0.027).6.The cox regression analysis of STAIThe scores of the patients'SAI and TAI are greater than the normal crowd (P<0.01).The scores of SAI are affected by time of abuse, sex, times of detoxification and average dose of abuse (P<0.01).Time of abuse, Education background and marital status have great influence on the scores of TAI (P<0.01).7.The situation of physiology and psychology after nursing interventionExperimental results show that patients in test group have a significant higher score in QOLDA and body mass index (BMI) than those in control group (P<0.01).8.The main reasons that affect quality of life in heroin abuses before relapse againFive new keywords were pumped:Family desertion; Haunted by recurring flashbacks of past environment and peer drug abusers;Helpless;Psychology bears ability decline; Ambivalence.Conelusion:Patients at the drug-abstention center have a poorer quality of life. Patients'admission time, years of use drugs, social support, and condition of psychology are the major factors for life quality reduction. Nursing intervention can perfect and improve the quality of life.
