Objective The study aimed at discussing the relations between general self-efficacy and academic record,and between state and trait anxiety and academic record of the junior college nursing students. According to understanding the effect of the basic features,general self-efficacy and state and trait anxiety of the nursing students to academic record,the evidence was provided to select the effective nursing education methods.Methods Using Group Sampling method,148 junior college nursing students at the 2004 grade in Taishan Medical School and 104 junior college nursing students at the 2006 grade in the North China Coal Medical School were extracted.The basic feature questionnaire,GSES and state-trait anxiety questionnaire were used to collect data,and the academic record directly used the course grade that in the student files in school.SPSS V13.0 was used to deal with data.Frequency and percentage were used to describe the basic feature;Independent-Samples T Test was used to compare the self-efficacy,state anxiety and trait anxiety of the junior college nursing students between the different groups;T Test and ANOVA were used to compare the self-efficacy, state anxiety,trait anxiety and academic record among the different groups according to the basic features;Pearson Correlation was used to analyze the relations between the academic record and the general self-efficacy,between the academic record and state and trait anxiety, and between the general self-efficacy and state and trait anxiety; Multiple Linear Regression was used to analyze the effect and forecast of independent variable,which were the factors about basic features,to dependent variable,which included general self-efficacy,state anxiety and trait anxiety;Multiple Linear Regression was used to analyze the effect and forecast of independent variable,which included the factors about basic features,general self-efficacy,state anxiety and trait anxiety,to dependent variable,which were the academic record.Results1.The correlate analysis between the self-efficacy and the academic record,and between the state-trait anxiety and the academic record. Pearson Correlation coefficient was 0.600 between the self-efficacy and the academic record,P<0.01;Pearson Correlation coefficient was-0.239 between the state anxiety and the academic record P<0.01;Pearson Correlation coefficient was-0.197 between the trait anxiety and the academic record,P<0.01.The differences have statistical significance.2.The difference between the state-trait anxiety and the norm.The difference between the state-trait anxiety and the norm was statistically insignificant,P<0.01,the differences have statistical significance.3.The one factor analysis that affecting the self-efficacy,the state anxiety and the trait anxiety.The effect of ranking at home to the state anxiety and the trait anxiety was statistically insignificant,P<0.01,and only the difference of the state anxiety and the trait anxiety between ranking No.1 and ranking the smallest was statistically insignificant (P<0.01).The difference of the self-efficacy,the state anxiety and the trait anxiety between student cadres and non-cadres was statistically insignificant(P<0.05 and P<0.01).The effect of economic condition to the self-efficacy,the state anxiety and the trait anxiety was statistically insignificant(P<0.05),and only the difference between the group whose income was left and the group whose income was inadequate to meet the expense was statistically insignificant.The effect of part-work and part-study to the self-efficacy and the state anxiety was statistically insignificant,and the self-efficacy,state anxiety of the group whose frequency of part-work and part-study was very high was higher than the group who never went to part-work and part-study(P<0.01 and P<0.05 ), and the state anxiety of the group whose frequency of part-work and part-study was very high was lower than the group who never went to part-work and part-study(P value was 0.006).The difference of the self-efficacy,the trait anxiety between the group who satisfied with the living condition and the group who were not satisfied with the living condition was statistically insignificant,P<0.01.4.The one factor analysis that affecting the academic record.The academic record between student cadres and non-cadres was statistically insignificant(P<0.05).The academic record between the group who satisfied with the living condition and the group who were not satisfied with the living condition was statistically insignificant,P<0.01.5.The multiple factor analysis that affecting the self-efficacy,the state anxiety and the trait anxiety.Multiple Linear Regression was respectively used to analyze the influence factors of the self-efficacy, the state anxiety and the trait anxiety,and the independent variables all were eight ones that included the origin,ranking at home,the education degree of the father,the education degree of the mother, whether they were student cadres or not,economic condition,whether they were satisfied with living condition or not,the frequency of part-work and part-study and so on.On the leval ofα=0.05,four factors including whether they were satisfied with living condition or not, whether they were student cadres or not,economic condition,the frequency of part-work and part-study can jointly predict 26.3% variation of self-efficacy;five factors including ranking at home, whether they were student cadres or not,economic condition,whether they were satisfied with living condition or not,the frequency of part-work and part-study can jointly predict 28.6%variation of state anxiety;four factors including ranking at home,whether they were student cadres or not,economic condition,whether they were satisfied with living condition or not can jointly predict 25.2%variation of trait anxiety.6.The multiple factor analysis that affecting the academic record. Multiple Linear Regression was respectively used to analyze the influence factors of the academic record,and the independent variables were eleven ones that included the origin,ranking at home,the education degree of the father,the education degree of the mother, whether they were student cadres or not,economic condition,whether they were satisfied with living condition or not,the frequency of part-work and part-study,the self-efficacy,the state anxiety,the trait anxiety and so on.On the leval ofα=0.05,five factors including whether they were student cadres or not,whether they were satisfied with living condition or not,the self-efficacy,the state anxiety,the trait anxiety can jointly predict 13.0%variation of academic record.Conclusion1.The relation between the self-efficacy and the academic record of the junior college nursing students was positive correlation,and the relations between the state anxiety and the academic record and between the trait anxiety and the academic record of the junior college nursing students were negative correlation.2.The relations between the self-efficacy and the state anxiety and between the self-efficacy and the trait anxiety of the junior college nursing students were negative correlation.3.To junior college nursing students,the effect of the self-efficacy to the academic record was the biggest;the effects of the factor whether the nursing students were satisfied with the living condition or not to their state anxiety and trait anxiety were the biggest;the effect of the factor whether the nursing students were cadres or not to the self-efficacy was the biggest.
