Objective:To investigate the effect of estradiol on glucose metabolic in patients with hyperuricemia in a small sampleMethods:300 persons with normal uric and 300 patients with hyperuricemia were obtained,1/3 were male,1/3 were pre-menopausal women and 1/3 were post-menopausal women. We detected the serum uric acid, glucose, lipid, liver function, renal function, estradiol and insulin. Results:the patients with hyperuricemia were exexperimental group(e group), the normal were control group.1. The incidences of high TG,TC and LDL-C in hyperuricemia group are much higher than those in normal UA group of the men 2. The incidences of hypertension, high blood glucose, ALT, AST, TG, TC, LDL-C and low E2 in hyperuricemia group are much higher than those in normal UA group of the pre-menopausal women.3. The incidences of hypertension, high blood glucose, ALT, AST, TG, TC, and LDL-C in hyperuricemia group are much higher than those in normal UA group of the post-menopausal women.4. Compared with the persons who had normal uric acid, the patients with hyperuricemia occurred glucose metabolic disorder more easily. The incidence of E2 in glucose metabolic disorders is lower than this in normal glucose group whether hyperuricemia or not.Conclusion:1. The uric acid plays a more important role in the level of the glucose, insulin, and HOMA-IR in women not in men.2. The uric acid plays a more important in the decrease of E2.3. The decreasing estradiol is associated with the increasing uric acid and glucose.
