Objective:To compare MSCTA and DSA in the evaluation of blood supply of meningiomas, then learn the advantages and the application value of the two methods. Methods:To compare MSCTA and DSA in the evaluation of blood supply of the 20 patients with meningiomas in our hospital (Including the tumor feeding arteries, draining veins, venous sinus and the surrounding tissue, and providing the amount of preoperative information)Results:The images of 20 patients with meningiomas show the tumor feeding arteries, draining veins and venous sinus clearly through MSCTA and DSA,the latter have an advantage in displaying small branches over the former's,18cases inner brain arteries involved in blood supply,of 7 cases display shift of the cerebral branches of the basilar artery.Part of the veins were worm-like or Set bundle, draining into the adjacent superficial vein or venous sinus.MSCTA showed 4 cases invaded of 8 patients of meningiomas adjacent sinus. One image of MSCTA was overestimated by sinus invasion due to bone affected.DSA has obvious advantages over MSCTA in displaying blood vessels near the skull.MSCTA can accurately assess the relationship between tumor and bone, and provide three-dimensional images for the preoperative simulation of surgical approaches. Conclusion:MSCTA can accurately provide the information of the tumor feeding arteries, draining veins, venous sinus and was highly consistent with the DSA,and provide more information than the latter in the preoperative simulation and the impact on the bone.DSA have an advantage in evaluation of peritumoral sinus side near the meningeal blood vessels due to without bone interference.
