Objective:To evaluate the expression of NF-ΚB(nuclear factorΚB), IΚB(InhibitorΚB),COX-2(Cycloxygenase-2) and PR(progesterone receptor) in the decidual tissue of missed abortion, and analyse their mutual correlation.Methods:Decidua tissues of patients with missed abortion was collected as the study group,and induced abortion as the control group. Immunofluorescence was employed on missed abortion group(30 cases) and control group(30 cases) to show the location, quantity and interaction of NF-KB,1ΚB, COX-2 and PR.Results:NF-ΚB,IΚB, COX-2 and PR could be observed intracytoplasma and intranucleus in both groups. 1).The quantities of intracytoplasma NF-KB are higher in study group than control group, but intranuclear NF-KB is lower in study group (p<0.05, p<0.05).2). Intranuclear IΚB is higher in study group (p<0.05), but intracytoplasma I-ΚB is lower in study group (p<0.05).3). Both the intracytoplasma COX-2 and the intranuclear COX-2 are higher in study group than control group(p<0.05, p<0.05).4). Both the intracytoplasma PR and intranuclear PR are lower in study group than control group(p<0.05, p<0.05).5). Correlation analyses in study group showed intranuclear NF-ΚB had a negative correlation with intracytoplasma I-ΚB(r=-0.926, a=0.000), intranuclear NF-ΚB had a positive correlation with intranuclear I-ΚB(r=0.773,a=0.000), intracytoplasma I-ΚB had a positive correlation with intracytoplasma PR(r=0.461, a=0.405), intracytoplasma IΚB had a positive correlation with intranuclear PR(r=0.405, a=0.026), intranuclear NF-ΚB had a positive correlation with intracytoplasma COX-2(r=0.653,a=0.000), intranuclear NF-ΚB had a negative correlation with intranuclear PR(r=-0.511,a=0.004), intranuclear NF-ΚB had a negative correlation with intracytoplasma PR(r=-0.666,a=0.000), intranuclear PR had a negative correlation with intracytoplasma COX-2 and intraplasma COX-2(r=-0.675, a =0.000;r=-0.469,a=0.009).Conclusion:1)The downregulation of I-ΚB and PR, the upregulation of NF-ΚB,COX-2 may contribute to missed abortion.2) The activation of NF-ΚB/IΚB pathway may increase the expression of COX-2, and decrease the expression and function of PR, and finally lead to missed abortion.
