Objectives: To observe the clinical effects in treating functional constipation caused by stagnation of qi due to depression of the liver with having taken deanxit and acupuncture,and to analyze the mechanism of this therapy in treating functional constipation from two aspects of theory and clinical study. Method:Choose 60 patients who are accord with the diagnosis standard and separate them into treatment group(30 patients) and control group(30 patients),the former had taken deanxit orally and acupuncture; the latter had taken maren pill and xiaoyao pill orally.Both groups to 4 weeks for one period of treatment. To observe the clinical curative effect of two groups, and followe up healed patients for 6 months to observe the long-term outcome. Results: Clinical studies show that amelioration about of frequency of defecation,excrementitious shapes and difficult degree of defecation in the treatment group better than control group, there was significant difference (p<0.05). Two groups of cases comprehensive efficacy analysis show that there was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05), and the treatment group was clearly better than the control Group. The total effective rate of the treatment group is 93.33%. Conclusions:This clinical trial results show that acupuncture and deanxit can adjust not only the gastrointestinal plant nerve function disorder, promote gastrointestinal emptying; but alse the central nervous system and ease patients′dysphoric and depressive state. The treatment group was clearly better than the control group,and no significant effect to liver and kidney function,blood for routine,urine for routine and stool for routine.So,it is a safe medication approaches, and deserve to extend and use in clinically.
