| Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the clinical efficacy on Jia Wei Si Ni Powder in Treating cholelithiasis, try to discuss deeply the etiology and pathogenesis of cholelithiasis, and the efficacy and mechanism of Jia Wei Si Ni Powder by using the theory of TCM.Methods: In establishing the strict diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria, exclusion criteria and efficacy of assessment criteria, based on a random, balanced against the principle of 100 patients qualified as subjects 60 cases were divided into experimental group given Jia Wei Si Ni Powder; 40 cases were divided into control group treated with oral gallstone tablet. Above two groups of patients' symptoms, signs and B ultrasonic examination were observed before and after treating between the two groups of patients,1 month a course of treatment, observation of three courses, a total of 3 months.Results: Jia Wei Si Ni Powder can obviously improve the clinical symptoms , obviously row and melt stones. The total effective rate of the experimental group was 90.00% ,while the total effective rate of the control group was 62.50%, the two groups were significantly different (P <0.05). Therefore,Treating cholelithiasis by Jia Wei Si Ni Powder can effectively alleviate the clinical symptoms, the exact effect, with a high clinical value.
