The Clinical Study Of Intertrochanteric Fracture Treatment With PFNA In The Elderly

Objective:To observe the curative effect of intertrochanteric fractures in the elderly who were treated with PFNA.Methods:In the trial,25 elderly patients of intertrochanteric fracture were treated with PFNA,which was combined with TCM therapy and CPM machine.And operation time,blood loss,postoperative complications,hospital stay and fracture-healing time of the patients were observed .The coxa-joint function of the patients were also scored by Dong Jiyuan's Method to assess the therapeutic effect of PFNA .Results:No incision infection occured in the cases. Only one wound-healing was delayed ,all the remaining 24 patients healed at degree1. And no internal fixation loosening and fracture displacement was found in the following investigation. And the good rate of six-month-postoperative functional evaluation was 92%.Conclusion:The study suggests that PFNA has affirmatory curative effects for the treatment of intertrochanteric fracture in the elderly ,which is Worthy to be popularized for clinical use.
