| Objective:This study is to observe the difference curative effect between massage therapy and children's indigestion tablets in treating infantile anorexia in type of spleen dysfunction, and to objectively evaluate the curative effects of massage therapy in treating infantile anorexia and provide objective evidence for clinical treatment.Methods: 60 infantile anorexia patients,in type of spleen dysfunction,were randomly divided into treatment and control group,30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated by massage therapy with strengthening spleen in transportation method. The control group was treated with children's indigestion tablets.Results: In treatment group,the comprehensive overall curative effect rate and cure effect of were 100% and 47%.The overall curative effect rate and cure rate of TCM syndrome were 100% and 60%. In control group,the comprehensive overall curative effect rate and cure effect were 86.7% and 13.3%. The overall curative effect rate and cure rate of TCM syndrome were 90% and 26.7%. There was a significant difference in curative effect and cure rate between the two groups(P<0.05), treatment group is superior to control group. The scores of food amounts,complexion,abdominal distension and stool had a significant difference(P<0.05) between two groups,The scores of appetite and fatigue of spirit had no significant difference(P>0.05)between two groups.Conclusion:Treating infantile anorexia,in type of spleen dysfunction,with children's indigestion tablets and massage therapy with strengthening spleen in transportation method has exact curative effects, but the curative effect and cure rate of treatment are superior to control group. It is worth extending the use of massage.
