| Objective: To research surgical treatment for distal tibial fracture,improve the cure rate. Methods: From Jun 2009 to Jun 2010,48 patients were treated by surgical treatment in Shandong University of TCM Affilliated Hospital Orthopaedics Patients' Rooms. There were 29 cases male and 19 cases female aging from 20 to 70(mean 39.8). 21 operations were at left knees,27 were at right knees,31 concomitant fibula fractures. Preoperative clinical and imaging study to assess, in particular the extent of soft tissue injury assessment, to determine the timing of surgery. Surgery,make attention of the choice of intraoperative incision ,soft tissue protection,the choice of fixation methods. Guide patients to do postoperative rehabilitation training, as well as take the necessary measures to prevent complications.All the patients were followed up for 1 year. Application Johner-Wruhs ankle function score, observe the clinical effect. Results:48 cases were followed up ,3 months postoperation excellent in 21,good in 17, fair in57, and poor in 3,and 79.17% excellent or good results were obtained;one year postoperation excellent in 26,good in 17, fair in5 , and poor in 0. 89.58% excellent or good results were obtained. Conclusion: Using MIPPO technology with the LCP treatment of distal Tibial fracture can have excellant clinical effect.To fully assess the pre-operative fracture and combined injuries, choose a reasonable way of operation and fixed.The merger deal with injury and fractures of the treatment is equally important.Postoperative functional training on the restoration of joint function is particularly important.
