The Analysis Of Effect And Treatment Options Of Intertrochanteric Fractures With PFN-A And DHS

Objective: Provide reference of the choice of intertrochanteric fracture fixation means by observing PFN-A and DHS in the treatment of inter- trochanteric fractures and comparing the clinical efficacy of methods.Methods: Collect 50 cases in-patient treatment met the inclusion criteria of intertrochanteric fracture in Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Department of Orthopedics from September 2008 to September 2010. PFN-A treatment with 23 patients, DHS treatment with 27 patients, reached the standard of fracture healing after treatment. Two groups of patients and efficacy of treatment were observed, and for statistical analysis, the efficacy of two methods to make analysis and evaluation.Results: PFN-A and DHS treatment of intertrochanteric fractures have both better efficacy, excellent rates are 91.30% and 66.67% respectively.Conclusion:PFN-A and Treatment of intertrochanteric fractures of DHS can get a good therapeutic effect.Therefore, we can choose the treatment of the hip according to the patient's clinical condition and the overall functional requirements. However, PFN-A get higher excellent rates ,shorter operative time, less blood loss, and less trauma.
