Caries is one of the common chronic diseases in Chinese children and adolescents, which have dental local and systemic adverse effects, and even affect children's growthand health.Oral hygiene behavior directly relate to the formation of dental caries. Theformation of children's oral hygiene behavior mainly depends on the elementaryeducation of families and schools.Stomatological hospital of Jiangsu Province is a "san jia" dental specialties hospital. In order to learn oral hygiene behabior of the patients who aged 3-8, and oral hygienebehabior knowledge of their parents, we got questionnaires of these patients' parents whoand seek treatment at this hospital from August 2010 to February 2011.Else,we recordedpatients' oral examination results.Demineralization of enamel surface is early state of dental caries. Enamel hasstronger resistance to acid, less sensitive to dental caries. Er: YAG laser (erbium: yttrium, aluminum, garnet) is used for hard-tissue. The laser was used to cut dental hard tissuesince 1989, and now has more clinical application. For the controversial of the ability ofincreasing the acid resistance of enamel, the effect of Er: YAG laser on acid resistance ofprimary and permanent tooth enamel was studied in vitro. Fluoride has theremineralization abilities and could enhance the acid resistance of enamel, however, forsecurity issues; fluoride is limited of prevention for primary and young permanent teeth. The effect on acid resistance and remineralization of enamel were compared between Er:YAG laser and fluoride gel and the synergy effect of fluoride and laser...
