Application Of Nickel-titanium Temperature-dependent Memory-shape Device In Gastroenterostomy

Objective:To evaluate the safety and efficacy of compression anastomosis clip (CAC) for gastrointestinal anastomosis.Evaluate the application of CAC in surgery of gastrointestinal anastomosisMehods:A etrospective study was carried out on 186 paients gastric cancer. Who eceived postopertive subtotal gastrectomy and astrojejunostomy in our hospital between March 2007 to August 2010.All the patients were divided ino two group,the group I (n=104) by CAC and group II (n=84) with curved stapler.The parameters of intra and postoperative,the time of gastrojejunostomy,the total operating time,the incidence of postoperative complications in the two groups was compared;the bowel movemet and extrusion of clip device was recorded.Results:Operation of all the two groups patients was successful without operative mortality.1. There was no significant differences in sex,ages,clinical features,lesion site and size(p>0.05).2. Thre were no statistical difference in the the time of the total operating time,hospitalization time,postoperative eating time of group,the intraoperative blood loss in the groups(p>0.05).3. No anastomotic leakeage, anastomotic stenosis occurred in the group by CAC.The anastomotic stenosis and intraoperative anastomotic blood were lower than those of group with curved stapler(p<0.05).there was no statistical difference in the postoperative anastomotic bleeding,functional delayed gastric emptying and returning gastritis for two group(p>0.05).There was no statistical difference in the cost ib hospital(p>0.05).The clip was evacuated with the stool within 10-30 days after operation in the experiment group.Conclusion:CAC was safe and simple to use for gastroenterostomy.CAC was timesaving,lower pollution and the occurrence of postoprative complications rate was lower than those with anastomosed with curved stapler.CAC could pass through ileocecal valve smoothly,CAC was worth to popularized in the clinical.
