Abstract/Summary:
ObjectiveTo observe the effectiveness and the law of the acupoints thermal moxibustion in the treatment of facial paralys.MethodsCriteria for this study were included in the 60 patients orderly with facial paralys, all from the acupuncture department of Guangdong provincial hospital of TCM. By using the Statistics book's table of random number to choose random numbers, in accordance with the principle by distributed the odd and even numbers into different groups, the 60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,32 cases with odd numbers in treatment group,28 cases with even numbers in control group. Ttreatment group was acupuncture + acupoints thermal moxibustion;Control group was acupuncture+TDP. General information on pre-treatment compared to two groups of sex, age, and affected side compared (P>0.05), difference was not statistically. The treatment of both group was 5 times a week, evaluating the effectiveness the end of one month after treatment, whitch is according to the book of Diagnostic criteria of clinical common disease. Database entry and statistical analysis were spssl0.34 statistical software.Results1.Thirty two patients of the treatment group, treatment after 1 month, cases of recovery were 26, cases of markedly effective were 6, cases of improvement were 0, cases of inefficency were 0. the recovery-markedly effective rate was 100%, the total effective rate was 100%. The control group after treatment 1 month, cases of recovery were19, cases of markedly effective were 3, cases of improvement were 3, cases of inefficency were 3. the recovery-markedly effective rate was78.6%, the total effective rate was 89.3%. two groups were statistically significant differences in efficency (P <0.05). Cure rate in treatment group than the control group2 The treatment group entered the final statistics stages of 32 patients, the-top-five of the most sensitive points of the three thermal frequency statistics and accounting for the percentage of patients in treatment group: Yifeng 20 (66.7%), Fengchi 19 (59.4%), Dicang 16(50%), Cengjiang 16(50%%), Yangbai 10 (31.3%)ConclusionAcupoints thermal moxibustion for the peripheral facioplegia is effective;acupoints thermal certain regularity of the most sensitive of the five points is meant to yifeng, fengchi, dicing and, chengjiang, yangbai, which helps us to form a set of standard optimization treatment programs.
