| Objective1. Observing the therapeutic effect of treating chronic Pelvic inflammatory disease using combinations therapy of acupuncture and heat sensitive Moxibustion.2. Observing therapeutic effect causing by different Traditional Chinese Medical syndromes.3.To discuss the mechanism of combination therapy.4.To provide clinical evidence for the combination therapy of treating chronic Pelvic inflammatory disease.MethodsThis study randomly divided the 60 cases into control group and treatment group. The control group was applied combination of acupuncture and common Ai box Moxibustion, and the treatment group was applied combination therapy of acupuncture and heat sensitive Moxibustion. Then, clinical symptoms, score of Traditional Chinese Medical assessment, Hemorheological index and pelvic ultra sound B results were compared between the two groups.Results1.Genreal information:There was no significant difference between the two groups considering age, course of disease and TCM syndromes.2. TCM syndromes:Kidney deficiency integrated with blood stasis type occupied the most among the 60cases which accounted 29 cases (48.33%). The second most common type was Qi stagnation with Blood stasis which reached 15 (25%). The third is cold-damp stagnation type with number of 9 cases(15%). The last is damp-heat and stasis type with number of 7 cases (11.67%).3. Therapeutic effect:15 cases of the treatment group reached the requirements of recovery,8 cases showed markedly effective results and 5 cases presented effective results while 2 cases had no therapeutic effect. The total effect rate of treatment group was 93.3%. However, only 8 cases from controlled group reached the requirements of recovery.7 cases showed markedly effective results and 7 cases presented effective results while 8 cases had no therapeutic effect. The total effect rate of controlled group was 73.3%. And there was a significant difference between the two groups in terms of the therapeutic effect (P<0.05). There were four types of TCM syndromes which are Qi stagnation with Blood stasis, damp-heat and stasis, cold-damp stagnation and Kidney deficiency integrated with blood stasis with the effective rate of 100%,75%,100%,92.3% accordingly in treatment group and with the effective rate of 71.4%,33.3%,75%,81.3% accordingly in controlled group. There was a significant difference between two groups (P<0.05). From the angle of recovery rate, the treatment group were 37.5%,0,60%,69.2% of above 4 types, and the control group were 14.3%,0.25%,37.5% accordingly. The study showed the recovery rate was the same among two goups'damp-heat and stasis type (P<0.01).4. Analysis of score of TCM syndromes assessment:The post-treatment TCM score showed that there was a significant difference between the two groups in Qi stagnation with Blood stasis type and Kidney deficiency integrated with blood stasis type (P<0.05).There was no significant difference between two groups'cold-damp stagnation type and damp-heat and stasis type (P>0.05).5. Analysis of Hemorheological index:There was a siginificant difference between the two groups comparing the Whole blood low viscosity, Whole blood high viscosity, Plasma viscosity, Hematocrit, ESR and the K value.6. Analysis of pelvic ultra sound B results:Comparing the B results of before and after treatment, the treatment group showed better improvement in terms of enlargement of uterus, Annex thickening, adnexal mass size, and pelvic fluid.Conclusion1. Treatment group using combination therapy of acupuncture and heat sensitive moxibustion had better therapeutic results than controlled group.2.TCM syndromes, TCM assessement scores, Hemorheological index and pelvic ultrasound B all affected the treatment results.3. Combination therapy of acupuncture and heat sensitive moxibustion could improve the recovery rate and strengthen patients'confidence. It is worthwhile continuing studying... |
