Object iveTo observe Elderly distal radial fractures afte fixed by splinting early forearmr pressure changes, for the firmness and the prevention of complications provides an objective basis.MethodsTake prospective clinical research method, the selection of The first affiliated guangzhou university of traditional Chinese medicine trauma orthopaedic 2010 April-April 2011 with the inclusion criteria of 30 hospitalized patients, using improved Rorabeck method pressure measuring device to measure limb forearm Osteofascial Compartment pressure for three days, organizing pressure sorting data to mean±standard deviation, Using SPSS17.0 statistical software to application analysis, draw the distal radius fracture after restoration splint fixed pressure changing curves for the first three days.ResultAfter all clinical observation end, all the patients client receives the test, and record a complete process cooperation clinical data, all patients did not appear complication related with pressure measuring.1,Before Reset the pressure of forearm dorsal was 36.45±4.53 mmHg, volar was 34.34±3.67 mmHg, for we reset and fixed by splinting the pressure of forearm was 48.85±3.76 in back side mmHg, volar was 47.89±4.56 mmHg.2,Afte reset the frist day with three root fixed forearm the pressure of forearm dorsal was 35.59±3.83 mmHg, volar was 34.49±3.69 mmHg, four root fixed the pressure of forearm was 39.34±3.67 in back side mmHg, volar was 38.08±2.45 mmHg. 3,After reset 3h the pressure of forearm dorsal was 54.35±2.79 mmHg, volar was 53.59±3.21, after Id the pressure of forearm was 34.49±3.69 in back side mmHg, volar was 31.81±3.21 mmHg, after 3d the pressure of forearm was 32.69±3.39mmHg in back side, volar was32.19±3.06 mmHg。4,After the statistical analysis, before reset the Osteofascial Compartment pressure of forearm dorsal or volar, the day after reset with three or four root fixed Osteofascial Compartment pressure of forearm dorsal or volar,3h and Id, Id and 2d,2d and 3d, or within 3 days before and after adjustment splint are very significant differences.Conclusion1,Improvement Rorabeck method as detection Osteofascial Compartment pressure measurement method is simple and accurate, all patients in all did not appear complications associated with pressure measuring in the whole, it is worth application in the clinical.2,Through the observation found distal radius fracture after restoration, fixed splinting, limb organization pressure will rise significantly, including the pressure of forearm dorsal mean difference value was d=12.43 volar was d=12.67. After Fracture restoration in the same time points the Osteofascial Compartment pressure of forearm dorsal or volar not seen significant difference3,The Osteofascial Compartment pressure of forearm distal radius fracture after restoration and splint fixed forearm pressure will rising in the reattachment obviously peak within 3h, if adjusting cable tie tension timely, to keep the appropriate tension, then gradually declined on two days, the third day will be more stable.
