Objective:To reveal the better efficacy of the treatment on chronic superficial gastritis,we use different moxibustion treatments on chronic superficial gastritis (Syndrome of deficiency cold of spleen and stomach) to explor the mechanism of the moxibustion. Methods:Randomly devided 84 patients with functional dyspepsia into warming moxibustion group(Group A), ginger moxibustion group(Group B), and modern medicine (Ranitidine) group (Group C). Group A and Group B took muxibustion once each day, and 10 times as a course of treatment for two courses altogether and one day of rest between each courses; while for the Group C,regarded taking the medicine continuously for 10 days as a course of treatment for two courses altogether and 1 day of rest between each courses. The cycle of treatment in both group are all 2 months, among which the clinical treatment takes 23 days while 1 follow up in each group 1 month after the treatment. And ask the patient to fill in the integration of the chronic superficial gastritis and MOS 36-Item Short-Form Health Survey (SF-36) separately at the time of before the treatment, after the treatment (4 weeks) and the follow up 1 month after the treatment. In addition, test the amont of TNF-α,IL-1,IL-10 in blood before the treatment and after the treatmen (4 weeks) to determine the current efficacy and prostecdtive efficacy.Results:1,After treating for 4 weeks, the total effect in the 3 groups have no significant difference(P>0.05); Compared with before treatment, the superficial gastritis symptom score has a very significant difference after treatment (P<0.01); the superficial gastritis symptom score were compared in the 3 groups has no significant difference(P>0.05).2,After 1 month follow up, the total effective rates in A group, B groupwere higher than that in C group, significantly (P<0.05); Compared with before treatment, the superficial gastritis symptom score has a very significant difference after treatment (P<0.01); Among three groups, warming moxibustion group and ginger moxibustion group have a very significant difference in the superficial gastritis symptom score compared with modern medicine group (p<0.01).There is no difference between warming moxibustion group and ginger moxibustion group (p>0.05)3,There was no difference in IL-1,IL-10 and TNF-αamong three groups before the treatment (p>0.05)。After treating for 4 weeks, IL-1 and TNF-a significant decreasd and IL-10 markedly increasd compared with pre-treatment (p<0.05 or p<0.01).There was no difference in the IL-1,IL-10 and TNF-αamong three groups after treating for 4 weeks (P>0.05) Conclusions:l.The treatment of warming muxibustion, ginger moxibustion, and modern medicine in CSG are all the effective treatment.2.The prostecdtive efficacy in warming muxibuxtion and ginger moxibustion on CSG is better compared with modern medicine.3.Muxibuxtion can adjust the levels of IL-1,IL-10 and TNF-αand preventing the development of excessive inflammatory. It showed that moxibustion can treat CSG by the effect of anti-inflammation.The working of moxibustion was corresponds to that of the modern medicine.
