The Cinical Research Of Du-Moxibustion With Ginger And Garlic To Influence ALP And CK In Treating AS

Object:Observation for the clinical effect,adverse effects,the effect for ALP and CKusing Du-moxibustion with ginger and garlic to treat AS,and to provide the method and thebasis for treatment of AS.Method:60patients with AS were divided into a treatment group and a control grouprandomly,30patients for each group.We used Du-moxibustion with ginger and garlic forthe treatment group and Du-moxibustion with just ginger for the control group once amonth for three months.Analyzing the changes of the patients’ symptoms,signs,ALP andCK before and after treatment.Result:1.Comparing the two groups before and after the treatment,there is significantdifferences from the scores for clinical symptoms (P<0.01) in each group; and there issignificant difference from the scores for clinical symptoms(P<0.05)between the twogroups after treatment, and the treatment group is superior to the control group.2.Comparing the two groups before and after the treatment,there is significantdifference from the scores for clinical signs (P<0.05) in each group,and there is nosignificant difference from the scores for clinical signs (P>0.05) between the two groupsafter treatment.3.Comparing the two groups before and after the treatment,there is significantdifference from the changes of the ALP for the patients (P<0.05) in each group,and there issignificant difference from the scores for the changes of the ALP for the patients (P<0.05)between the two groups after treatment.4.Comparing the two groups before and after the treatment,there is significantdifference from the changes of the CK for the patients (P<0.05) in each group,and there is significant difference from the scores for the changes of the CK for the patients (P<0.05)between the two groups after treatment.5.Both of the two methods can improve the clinical symptoms (P<0.01) effectively,thetotal effectiveness of the treatment group is90%,which is higher than that of the controlgroup which is80%(P<0.05).6.Neither the treatment group nor the control group had adverse effects duringtreatment.Conclusion:Du-Moxibustion with ginger and garlic can improve the clinical symptoms and signseffectively.It can improve the levels of ALP and CK,prevent bone damage for the patientseffectively.Du-Moxibustion across ginger and garlic is a safe and effective method whichis worth to use widely to treat AS.
