Researching The Shape Of Normal Occlusion Dental Arch And Base Bone Arch Of College Students Of Han Nationality In Liaoning.

ObjectiveAim The purpose of researching of teeth, dental and base bonebow of students in liao ning is to establish the normal referencevalue,which can guide orth-odontic diagnosis, treatment andresearchof liaoning district.Method114 students who met the requirements were used . Therequirements are as following. Their parents must be born in Liaoningand belong to Han nationality .They themselves should be grow up inLiaoning. And their ages are between 18 and 24.They also enjoy goodhealth, and their occlusion must be normal ones .They don't have badhabits like grinding their teeth at night and disordering theirtemporomandibular joints.56 students is male ,and the rest is female.The parameters of dental model were acquired by using standardizedmethods. They included length and breadth of dental arch, height andbreadth of dental crown and length and breadth of base bone arch.The index of Bolton, Pont and dental bow and so forth was measuredand analyzed statistically. We also discuss the inside link of the indexnumber, and comparing the end result with foreign ones. At last, weanalyzed the discrepancy of normal occlusion between Han nationalitycollege students in Liaoning and other regions and races. ResultPart of the measured values in different racial and regional districtare significantly (P \ 0.05).The mean values on Han nationality collegestudents with normal occlusion in Liaoning was also be figured outvery precisely. The final result can guide clinical operation aboutorthodontic..Conclusion1. The mean values of normal occlusion of Han nationality collegestudents in Liaoning are calculated very precisely.2. The indexes of tooth, dental arch and base bone arch about thenormal occlusion of Han nationality college students in Liaoningprovince are different in gender aspect. The situation of the indexes ofPont and Bolton is like gender, but the indexes of Bolton on anteriorteeth are an exception.3.The following indexes about the normal occlusion of Hannationality male college students in Liaoning province are more thanfemale ones , breadth and height of tooth , dental arch size ,dentalindex, breath and length of base bone arch.4. We compared the indexes of teeth, dental arch, base bone,Pont and Bolton with the ones in other regions like Xian, Hunan,Tibetan areas and so forth. The measured values are different indifferent racial and regions. When we cure patients, we must use thenormal reference value of their nationality and region.
